Description Specific

Polaroid is an American company that is a brand licensor and marketer of its portfolio of consumer electronics founded in 1937 by Edwin H. Land who ran the company until 1981. When the original Polaroid Corporation was declared bankrupt in 2001, its brand and assets were sold off. The “new” Polaroid formed as a result, and itself declared bankruptcy in 2008, resulting in a further sale and in the present-day Polaroid Corporation.

In May 2017, the brand and intellectual property of the Polaroid Corporation were acquired by the largest shareholder of the Impossible Project, which had originally started out in 2008 by producing new instant films for Polaroid cameras. The Impossible Project was renamed Polaroid Originals in September 2017.

The instant camera used self-developing film to create a chemically developed print shortly after taking the picture and is generally credited to Edwin Land, who unveiled the first commercial instant camera, the model 95 Land Camera, in 1948. This one was introduced in 1978.

This one is mounted of a Yashica ST-7 table top tripod manufactured in Germany. It’s swivel neck allows you to alter the position of the light up or down and left or right. The lamp holder is a Small Edison Screw fitting that will accommodate a variety of LED bulbs.
